Engineered Products is Hiring an Estimator Near Verona, PA
Job Overview:
We are seeking an Estimator to join our team. The Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project specifications and blueprints to prepare accurate cost estimates for construction projects. Training WILL be provided. Compensation may fluctuate due to experience.
Responsibilities:
- Analyze project drawings and specifications to determine the overall estimated cost
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and cost estimates for labor, materials, and equipment
- Collaborate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to gather necessary information for accurate estimates
- Utilize software such as Bluebeam to assist in estimating processes
- Develop and submit competitive bid proposals
- Monitor project costs throughout the construction process to ensure adherence to budget
- Negotiate pricing with vendors and subcontractors
- Provide cost control support during project execution
Experience:
Training WILL be provided.
-Experience in construction estimating and cost control
- Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and methods
- Proficiency in using estimating software such as Bluebeam
- Strong negotiation skills to secure competitive pricing from vendors and subcontractors
