Our project engineers will be with you every step of the way from design feasibility, CAD design and design optimization for injection molding, Mold Flow analysis, plastic resin, appearance and surface texture, color, prototype, mold design and build to the end product and throughout production.
We are looking for experienced Material Handler/Forklift Driver for 2nd shift Monday - Friday 3pm - 11:30pm. Weekends as needed.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
· Transport material (virgin or regrind resin, colorant, packaging materials, etc.) to the press.
· Transport finished goods from station to inventory area.
· Maintain the highest quality work to continuously insure customer satisfaction
· Report for work, clock in at scheduled time and be at work station/area on time
· Helps with rework of parts as needed
· Keep machine hoppers full at all times (verify the specific material before loading hoppers).
· Tilt gaylords as needed to assure all material gets loaded.
· Clean any material spills on machine or around machine due to loading, purging, or any other handling.
· Give press operators breaks as needed.
· Clean grinders and hoppers in detail as needed.
· Grind runners & scrap parts & assure no contamination takes place. Clearly identify on the gaylord or drum the date, shift, description of material and name of the Material Handler.
· When a material change occurs, fill out all required paperwork.
· Mix the regrind in appropriate % with the virgin material.
· Maintain and dump all garbage into main dumpster at the end of the shift prior to leaving (This includes the break room garbage).
· Assist the auxiliary operator in cleaning the break room.
· Shrink wrap the finished goods & place in the finished goods area as instructed.
· Load & unload shipping trucks as needed.
· Flatten empty gaylords and place in an organized manner prior to shipping.
· Help with material inventory (raw material, packaging).
· Help keep machines and plant clean.
· Operate forklift truck.
· Do other duties as assigned by supervisor.
· Be able to lift 40lbs.
