Responsibilities:

• Monitor sales trends and inventory usage to maintain appropriate stocking levels.
• Issue purchase orders to vendors for commodities such as metal, windows, welding supplies, powder coat, consumables, etc.
• Develop and maintain relationships with vendors through effective communication via email, phone, and in-person meetings.
• Evaluate vendor performance to ensure quality and deadlines are met.
• Compare pricing/review contracts and make decisions that best suit our budget and production needs.
• Negotiate pricing and added value incentives.
• Interface with accounting for billing and payment inquiries and resolve any issues.
• Collaborate with sales and engineering to get quotes on parts for new projects.
• Conforms to all plant policies and procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications include:

• High school diploma or equivalency required.
• 3-5 years in a related field preferred.
• Basic math and computer skills required.
• Strong organizational and planning skills preferred.
• Problem solving skills required.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
