SummarySeeking a dynamic, professional who will be a key part of the Partnership’s NGL and Refined Products Revenue Accounting Team. The NGL & Refined Products Revenue Accounting Team is responsible for the administration and accounting for all NGL & Refined Product pipelines, fractionators, storage, marketing and export activities in the US.
Essential Duties And ResponsibilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

• The individual in this role should have the initiative and drive to gain a deep understanding of the end-to-end NGL and Refined Products business and enjoy working across multiple departments in support of the business and other members of the team.
• Assist in preparation of monthly pipeline invoicing and reporting packages
• Provide invoices to customers on a monthly basis
• Assist in preparation of journal entries
• T rack and log manual journal entries on monthly basis
• Prepare invoice and back-up support for miscellaneous customer billings
• Communicate effectively and efficiently with internal and external customers
• Responsible for ensuring accuracy of intercompany & affiliate company transactions
• Management, review & monthly reconciliation of general ledger accounts
• Maintain SOX internal control processes
• Assist with quarterly and annual audit process
• Assist with quarterly FERC filings
• Generate monthly, quarterly and annual reports for internal and external users
• Ad hoc requests by internal management

Education And/or Experience, Knowledge, Skills & AbilitiesTo perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job duty satisfactorily. The requirements for this position are listed below:

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 0-2 years of experience – can include public accounting experience within the energy sector
• Solid time management skills; ability to handle multiple projects, meet deadlines and function independently and efficiently
• Strong attention to detail
• Problem solving with ability to recognize issues and deal with them directly
• Ability to communicate clearly both verbally and written
• Excellent organization skills and work habits
• Able to work comfortably in fast paced, unpredictable environment
• Comfortable working in a team environment, including interaction with measurement, scheduling, commercial, contract administration and marketing departments
• Strong Excel skills required

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with SAP and Entero application systems preferred
• Experience in Microsoft Office

Working ConditionsThe work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.

• Usually, normal office working conditions.
• Must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time due to prolonged periods of sitting or standing.
• Occasional overnight travel may be required.
