Energy 1is seeking Project Managers to join our dynamic MEP build team. 3-5 years of project management experience required, we want you to hit the ground running as our company continues to grow. Mechanical, Electrical, and/or Plumbing experience is preferred, but not required. Grit, determination, collaboration, and problem solving are all attributes that will help you thrive in our fast-paced environment. Attention to detail is a must as you manage project budgets ranging from 100K to 5M. Although our project managers are mainly office-based, you can expect to be boots-on-the-ground on your jobsites on a weekly basis to monitor progress, discuss strategy with our foreman, and coordinate with general contractors. Communication is key in our industry, so your written, typed, and verbal communication skills will propel your success in this roll. Proficiency in the Microsoft office suite is a must, including Microsoft Project. Experience with Trimble MEP, Foundation, or other estimating/PM software is a plus. We have openings available in Bozeman, MT and Jackson, WY.

E1 is a nationally recognized design, construction, and consulting firm specializing in turnkey energy solutions for high-end residential and commercial clients. We deliver engineering, contracting, operations, maintenance, and management services - all geared toward the creation of sustainable energy systems designed to ensure comfort, harmonize with their environments, and optimize cost efficiency.

Specific and critical job duties include:

• Analyze drawings and specifications
• Manage current plan sets and plan addendums
• Understand contractual terms and conditions
• Ensure that sub-contractor quotations, quotes meet contract documents and issue proper documented purchase orders
• Track and update project schedules and budgets
• Maintain project schedules in Microsoft Project
• Monitor progress, requisition change orders and identify any potential risks
• Nurture and maintain relationships with sub-contractors and clients
• Ensure site personnel are provided with proper documentation related to the project
• Formulate cost break down from estimates and for project progress
• Price/enter/send all change orders in coordination with estimating team
• Coordinate daily with construction operations team
• Hold and attend weekly EOS meetings
• Coordinate project engineer tasks daily
• Ensure submittals are produced and sent
• Participate project update meeting bi-weekly with department managers
• Pull bid information for bulk material purchases
• Coordinate with purchasing agent on bulk material purchases
• Ensure projects are repriced as necessary due to scope changes
• Provide technical assistance to field as necessary
