Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator

If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as a Part-Time Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator at our Chiropractic Health and Wellness Clinic.

At Energize Chiropractic & Wellness we are dedicated to improving the health and well-being of our patients through chiropractic care and holistic wellness practices. As a Front Desk Patient Care Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our patients have a positive and seamless experience from the moment they walk through our doors.

Responsibilities:

  • Greet and welcome patients with a warm and friendly demeanor, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for.
  • Schedule and manage patient appointments, including coordinating with healthcare providers and maintaining an organized appointment calendar.
  • Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries, providing accurate information about our services, availability, and general clinic procedures.
  • Utilize a text messaging platform to communicate with patients, sending appointment reminders, follow-up instructions, and general updates.
  • Verify patient insurance coverage and assist with the completion of necessary forms and documentation.
  • Collect patient information, update electronic medical records, and maintain confidentiality in handling sensitive patient data.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to ensure smooth patient flow and efficient operations.
  • Handle patient payments, process insurance claims, and maintain accurate billing records.
  • Provide administrative support, including filing, scanning, and managing office supplies.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent (additional education or training in healthcare administration is a plus).
  • Proven experience in a customer service or administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or wellness setting.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities, with keen attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems, basic computer applications, and a text messaging platform.
  • Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance procedures is an advantage.
  • A compassionate and empathetic nature, with a genuine interest in helping others.

Working Hours: This is a full-time position.

Hours: M, W, Thur - 8:30-6:30 with a lunch break Tuesday: 12:30-6pm Friday 8:30a-1:00p
