Job Summary:
We are seeking a part-time skilled and motivated EFDA or experienced Dental Assistant to join our team. If you do not have your EFDA license, we ask that you are proficient in making temporary crowns, bridges, and have experience with an intraoral scanner such as itero.

Hours:

We are looking for someone to work Wednesdays 8am-1pm, as well as 1 additional day if you are willing to be cross-trained in front desk duties. The other day is flexible Monday, Tuesday, or Thursday.

Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures
- Take and record vital signs of patients
- Prepare treatment rooms for procedures
- Sterilize and maintain dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays and process them for the dentist's review
- Manage patient medical records and update as necessary
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and post-treatment care
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office calendar
- Assist with dental receptionist duties as needed

Skills:

-Proficient in placing, adjusting, and polishing all composite restorations (EFDA only)

-Proficient in temporary crown and bridge fabrication
- Proficient in Dentrix or similar dental practice management software
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to dentistry
- Familiarity with CAD/CAM technology for digital impressions is preferred
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
