Looking for an medical assistant to work at newly opening Urgent Care in Culver City.
- Must be competent and experienced in placing peripheral IVs.
- Taking patient history and vital signs.
- Preparing patient for exam and rooming them.
- Must be able to draw blood, and place IVs.
- EKGs.
- Administer medications and injections.
- Apply dressings and wound care.
- Maintain supplies and equipment for treatments, including sterilization.
- Aid with different procedures and exams.
- Maintain patient files, records and other information in Electronic medical record system.
- Current BLS certification.
- California Licensed Vocational Nurse.
- Good communication skills, bilingual in Spanish helpful.
- 20-24$ per hour.
