Vector CAG, a manufacturer's representative partner of Endress Hauser, Inc., Vector Controls and Automation Group is seeking an experienced Analyzer Technician to perform service-related work to join their team in Pearland, TX.
The candidate will be required to provide installation, startup, commissioning, and maintenance of multiple types of units including but not limited to, GC's, CEMS, TDL & Physical Properties, BTU Analyzers & Sample Systems.
There will also be interaction with the customer on many levels (i.e. operations, maintenance, planning, environmental health, factory acceptance testing & safety, and engineering).
The ideal candidate will provide expertise to ensure that the products perform and meet customer expectations. The candidate will also be required to follow all customer and Vector Controls safety policies and procedures.
Role Responsibilities
Start Up and Commissioning and Trouble Shooting of Analytical Measurement devices such as GC's, CEMS, TDL Physical Properties, BTU Analyzers & Sample Systems
Multiple Overnights Trips required a Month. Travel 85%
Areas primarily include Texas, Oklahoma, Kansas, Missouri, but can be required to travel to location within the USA and International
Operate a program that focuses on personal and process safety (Zero accidents, releases, or process down time).
Maintain open communication with customer.
Maintain 100% compliance with all Vector CAG and customer site specific training
Complete all scheduled preventative maintenance (PM) work orders as scheduled
Provide subject matter expertise to customer for any Flow, Pressure, Temp, Valves, pH, conductivity, or other Instrumentation and analytical issues that may be presented
Qualification Profile
Knowledge of electronics, process diagrams (loop and data sheets), and test equipment (multi-meters.)
Knowledge of Instrumentation & Analytical Measurement Systems, multiple types of units including but not limited to, GC's, CEMS, TDL and Physical Properties
Associates degree in Analytical Technology or a technical degree with at least 5 years in process analytical equipment installation maintenance / troubleshooting (preferred)
Min 5 years on Demand Analytical Field Service Experience
Ability to work with minimal oversight
Good written and oral communication skills
Team player
Ability to rotate "On-Call" responsibilities
Multiple overnight trips per month required
