Position Summary: The Dental Assistant Intern will support our dental team in providing exceptional patient care. This internship offers hands-on experience in a clinical setting, allowing the intern to develop practical skills in dental assisting. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, detail-oriented, and passionate about pursuing a career in the dental field.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist endodontists during procedures, including preparing instruments, materials, and equipment
• Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment following infection control protocols
• Prepare and arrange dental materials and instruments for patient treatment
• Assist with ake and develop dental radiographs (x-rays)
• Assist with patient management, including seating patients, recording medical histories, and maintaining patient comfort
• Ensure the dental operatory is clean, organized, and well-stocked

Qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in or recent graduate of a Dental Assisting program
• Basic knowledge of dental procedures, instruments, and materials
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work well in a team environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and dental practice management software (preferred but not required).
• CPR certification (preferred but not required).
