Encore Talent Solutions is seeking a SAP Financial System Analyst. In this role, you'll collaborate with both internal teams and external partners. Your main tasks will revolve around identifying and documenting requirements for business and IT projects, leading technical initiatives, defining test scenarios and use cases, validating technical outputs, exploring tech solutions, and providing support and guidance to ensure IT-business alignment.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborating with customers, both internal and external, to gather, organize, and document stakeholder requirements for projects and application enhancements.
• Offering SAP configuration support across Finance-related modules like General Ledger, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Fixed Assets, Cost Center Accounting, Profit Center Accounting, and Internal Orders.
• Building and maintaining a robust SAP user community through training, support, and knowledge sharing to ensure alignment with business needs.
• Conducting stakeholder, impact, and gap analyses.
• Facilitating requirements gathering sessions and project status meetings.
• Creating business cases and project scopes.
• Developing and managing detailed project plans, work breakdown structures, and master test plans.
• Coordinating quality acceptance testing and user acceptance testing.
• Leading troubleshooting efforts for post-implementation issues.
• Managing processes like POC, RFP, and RFQ.
• Facilitating root cause analysis and solution development activities.
• Providing support and consultation for various technology systems.
• Acting as the liaison between IT and the business to ensure successful project delivery, timely issue resolution, quality IT services, and strategic alignment.
• Managing vendor relationships to ensure project deliverables meet expectations and SLAs.
• Identifying opportunities for process improvement, cost reduction, and automation.
• Analyzing data and developing insights to aid in decision-making.
• Collaborating with programming resources to ensure system enhancements meet user requirements.

Qualifications:

• US citizenship or green card holder status.
• Focused experience working directly with Finance and Accounting departments.
• 3 years of relevant business analysis experience.
• SAP S4 experience is necessary.
• 3-5 years of experience with SAP FI (GL, AP, AR, FA), CO (CCA, PCA, Internal Orders).
• Experience with large software implementations and systems integrations.
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid project methodologies.
• Experience creating test plans and facilitating user acceptance testing.
• Experience building business cases and providing technology support.
• Experience working with external vendors.
• Preferred experience with SAC Analytics and SAC Planning.
• 2 years of relevant project management experience (preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP applications (1-3 years preferred).
• Proficiency in technical documentation.
• Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong planning, organization, and multitasking abilities.
• Passion for customer service, efficiency, and quality.
• Team player mentality with flexibility and willingness to assist others.
• Ability to work flexible hours and travel between offices as needed.
