Job Title: Silicon Validation Engineer
Location: San Jose, CA
Status: US Citizen or US Permanent Resident only
Job Description: 
• Silicon test to perform validation and qualification of D2D silicon test chips.
• Develop hardware infrastructure for silicon validation and demo board platforms.
• Support silicon bring up and product qualification and characterization.
Requirements: 
• BSEE with 1 years of electrical testing & characterization of ASICs or silicon testchips in a lab using equipment such as Keysight and Tektronix equipment.
• Debug complex tests and interact with the design engineering teams to drive resolution of bugs. 
• Test automation using scripting. 
• Knowledge of Amplifiers, Phase Locked Loops, and Equalizers
• Running tests such as Tx Output jitter measurements, Receiver JTOL, and common validation tests
• Experience in oscilloscopes and BERTS
• Jitter, Noise, & other non-idealities in circuits
• Experience characterizing high speed IO, and PHYs supporting protocols such as DDR, Ethernet, PCIe, USB
• Develop Firmware required for silicon validation and customer platforms.
• PCB and package design experience
• Fluent with industry standard signal and power integrity tools
• Generate and maintain IBIS model generation for D2D products.
• Experience with Verilog, VHDL, or other hardware description languages

The anticipated annual base salary for this position is between $100,000 - $150,000 depending on experience and also includes a comprehensive benefits package.
