General Staff Accountant
This position at our headquarter branch location in Torrance, CA Enagic is a Japan-based leading manufacturer of alkaline ionizers and water filtration machines. Enagic distributes its products through a network of independent contractor sales represents through a multilevel (network) marketing business model.
Job Overview
Responsible for managing all financial transactions, from fixed payments and variable expenses to bank deposits and budgets. Assist Accounting Manager as needed and respond to information requests by management and for auditing purposes.
Responsibilities and duties
- Manage all accounting transactions and processes such as A/P, Journal Entries plus monthly closure accounts
- Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
- Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- General Ledger and Financial Statements
- Monitor and implement all accounts payable check activation and wire transactions
- Ensure timely bank payments and collate bank statements on a monthly basis
- Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
- Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
- Audit financial transactions and documents
- Monitor authorized account reconcile process
- Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
- Comply with financial policies and regulations
- Problem-solving and time management.
Qualification
- BS Accounting, Finance or relevant degrees or equivalent
- 1-3 years of accounting experience relate to general functions
- SAP, SAP Hanna, QuickBooks experiences
- Good communication skills (verbal and written)
- Able to work independently and team player
- Intermediate to Advance Excel skills with look-up, Pivot table.
- Meets deadlines
- Judgment and decision-making ability
