We are looking for a skilled, experienced Accountant to join Elior North America’s corporate team in [City]. As an Accountant, you will have the opportunity to support the growth and operations of diverse accounts across the country.

What you'll be doing:

Job Overview: As an Operations Accountant you will be part of the Corporate Team reporting to a Revenue Manager. In this role you are responsible for performing accounting functions including billing, inventory reporting, and commission payment calculations in support of the Operations Management teams.

Key Accountabilities:

• Ensures accurate records for billing of clients for assigned units
• Ensures accuracy of processing cash management information including but not limited to cash sales verification, point of sale reconciliations, bank deposits and meal pay plus transactions
• Maintains accurate accounts receivable management information including but not limited to client information, invoice payments, and commission processing within the applicable system
• Ensures accurate processing of inventory for applicable operating units
• Prepares and completes assigned balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of weekly/monthly journal entries

What we're looking for:

Minimum Qualifications Required:

• Associates Degree or Equivalent Experience
• One to four years of experience in financial accounting
• Knowledge of basic accounting principles and recording journal entries
• Ability to make judgments concerning the interpretation of policies and procedures
• Experience with excel, intermediate knowledge required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Microsoft Dynamics GP and its reporting tools i.e. Management Reporter, and SmartView

Skills Required:

• Must have excellent oral and written communications skills
• Strong attention to detail

• Build relationships with internal and external business partners
• Ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work with little or no supervision in a team environment – self-motivated
• Strong organizational skills to maintain appropriate files and reports
