Position Description

Emtec is seeking an experienced desktop support specialist to join our team for a 2 month contract in Plano, TX. In this role you will be provisioning a mixed environment of both Mac and Windows 11 laptops. You will be primarily imaging/configuring new laptops for users as well as providing end user support.

Location: This is an onsite position in Plano, TX that will require you to be in-person Monday-Friday.

Employment Type: This is a contract position for 2 months, with potential extension.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Use Microsoft Autopilot to image and deploy PC workstations
• Troubleshoot software and hardware issues for end users
• PC firmware updates as necessar

Must Have Skills:

• 5 Years of experience providing IT/desktop support with strong emphasis on laptop imaging and deployments
• Experience with Windows 11 and Mac OS operating systems
• Experience imaging and provisioning workstations for new hires
• Experience troubleshooting hardware, software, and network related issues
• Knowledge of Azure AD, Intune and Autopilot
• Strong problem solving & troubleshooting skills and w/ excellent customer service skills
