EMSL is currently seeking a Part Time Summer Laboratory Intern in Minneapolis, MN location. This role will support the team by performing sample preparation and some clerical duties.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 
Preparation of bulk and solid materials for asbestos PCM and TEM samples
 Preparation of microbiology samples 
Assist with clerical and lab duties as needed, such as data entry, sample review, and calibration and cleaning of laboratory instrumentation/equipment
Perform QA/QC practices per company QA/QC manualOther duties as assigned to meet business needsRequirements:Pursuing an Associates or Bachelor's degree in life sciencesOne to two years of previous academic or commercial lab experience a plusMust be able to work independently and with a teamMust be able to work in a fast-paced setting, multi-task, and prioritize assignmentsMust have good communication, computer, typing, and organizational skillsAvailable Shift:Part Time up to 20 hours per week Monday to Friday 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
