Role: Credit Risk Project Manager

Locations: Whippany, NJ (Hybrid Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months Contract

Note: Candidate needs to be in the office 3 Days every week. Local Or candidates from nearby states only.

Job Description:

• We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Project Manager to join our team.
• The ideal candidate will excel in coordination and stakeholder management, with a strong foundation in standard project management practices.
• While Credit Risk experience is preferred, we welcome candidates with a willingness to learn and grow in this area.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with the Lead Project Manager to support project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Coordinate project activities and tasks across multiple teams to ensure timely and successful project delivery.
• Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders, including clients, team members, and external partners, to facilitate communication and address inquiries or concerns.
• Assist in defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and monitor progress against established timelines and milestones.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, including project plans, status reports, and meeting minutes, to track project progress and ensure alignment with project goals.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate project risks and issues and escalate as needed to ensure timely resolution.
• Assist in the coordination of project meetings, workshops, and other project-related events, and ensure action items are documented and followed up on.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field with 10 years of experience in project management
• Proven track record of successful project coordination and stakeholder management.
• Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects concurrently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain positive relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
• Proficiency in project management tools and software, such as Microsoft Project, Jira, or Asana.
• Experience or familiarity with credit risk management concepts and practices is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment, with a proactive and adaptable approach to problem-solving.
