What you will do as an Contracts Administrator:
Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated individual to fill the role of Contracts Administrator. With independent judgment and discretion prepares proposals and administers contracts from their inception through completion. Potential of position becoming hybrid role after training.
Primary Responsibilities
Responds to customer inquiries, written and verbal, in a timely manner to ensure customer satisfaction.
Reviews customer solicitation/contract terms and conditions for acceptance and interprets and analyzes contract clauses, provisions, specifications, and requirements.
Prepares contract Certifications and Representations in accordance with regulatory requirements and provides written and verbal instructions to company with regard to contractual requirements.
Analyzes cost and estimating data for appropriate utilization in pricing proposals and prepares contract and pricing proposals for submittal to customers in accordance with individual customer requests and company and regulatory requirements.
Negotiates contract terms/conditions and prices with customers.
Prepares and processes job orders and related documents reflecting contract requirements for internal distribution and direction.
Prepares proposal and contract correspondence and sets up and maintains contract files.
Identifies contract changes and prepares contract claims.
Provides internal direction regarding contract changes.
Prepares, monitors, and issues contract/job budgets.
Monitors contract performance against contract requirements and reports on same.
Reviews contracts and orders from customers for acceptance based on company quotations and/or negotiated agreement.
Prepares and submits Contract/Technical Data Transmittals to customers in accordance with contract requirements and instructions.
Monitors, analyzes and reports on all aspects of contract status, compliance and/or problems to company management.
Represents company and participates in customer meetings.
Job Qualifications
6-10 years with BA/BS; 3-8 years with Masters
Ability to obtain BATF approval to engage in certain explosive operations
