Empower Partnerships is Hiring a Commercial HVAC Service Manager (Henderson, NV) Near Henderson, NV

This position oversees the Service Department's operational employees and their tasks, directs the field technician's daily activities, prepares service-related billings accurately and timely, provides operational efficiency recommendations to branch management, creates service proposals, interfaces with clients and sales staff and maintains a safe work environment by enforcing standards and procedures while complying with codes and OSHA regulations. The Service Manager is essential in ensuring the customer's experience is exceptional and consistent every time.

This position reports to Regional Branch Manager in Henderson, NV.

-Possible On-Call on an as needed basis
What you will do as Service Manager (Corporate HVAC):
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Oversee and manage the Service Department's general functions, including but not limited to: equipment start-up, commissioning, installation, preventative maintenance and emergency service for commercial HVAC equipment related to comfort cooling, computer rooms and other critical environments.
-Schedule work for field technicians including preventative maintenance inspections and both standard and emergency service calls.
-Ensure preventative maintenance inspections, standard and emergency service calls, and scheduled service work is completed as quoted and to DP Air Corporation standards.
-Develop and manage the fair distribution of hours including overtime and on call rotation for field technicians.
-Lead regularly scheduled meetings with the field technicians to discuss tech tips, safety, procedural changes, training, etc.
-Act as the liaison between field technicians and customers, should an issue occur, and resolution is needed.
-Provide technical advice and support for all field technicians. This includes teaching them how to look for sales opportunities, improving their skill set and preparing them for future roles within the company.
-Conduct customer account inspections throughout the branch's territory providing support/field training to technicians and gathering needed account information.
-Provide service-related proposals immediately to customers for work found during preventative maintenance inspections and account inspections.
-Understands all aspects of data center etiquette, fire suppression systems, dry pipe systems and EOP panel and operations.
-Oversee warehouse/van inventory management.
-Order parts as needed for awarded service projects.
-Customer invoice resolution as needed.
-Review and approve field technician time entry in ERP system and payroll system.
-Review and price service orders in ERP system.
-Oversee and manage dispatcher, service coordinator and warehouse technician.
-Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.
-Complete additional items as directed to by the Operations Manager and or Regional Manager.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Directly supervises the Service Department staff. Responsibilities include recruiting, hiring, orienting, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; communicating job expectations, reviewing job contributions, and appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; enforcing policies and procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
-Five to ten years related experience and or training.
-Commercial HVAC system experience is a must and critical environment, and data center experience is preferred.
-Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization
-Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results
-Knowledge of employee relationship building and performance management techniques
-Knowledge of Microsoft Applications including Excel, Word, Project, and Outlook
-Experience with Acumatica (internal ERP system) is a plus.
-Must be able to work outside of regular business hours which will include nights and weekends to meet customer requirements.
-Willingness to travel on an as needed basis.
