Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Serve as the case manager for patient's under your charge to ensure they are receiving the best care possible
- Assist with specimen collection processing and ensure accurate documentation
- Provide direct patient care, including wound care, catheterization, and administering injections
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Assist with discharge planning and ensure smooth transitions for patients
- Educate patients and their families on healthcare procedures, medications, and self-care techniques
- Utilize electronic medical record systems to document patient information accurately
Skills:
- Proficient in performing various nursing procedures, including specimen collection processing, wound care, and catheterization
- Ability to maintain aseptic technique during medical procedures
- Competent in utilizing electronic medical record systems for documentation purposes
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in Florida
- Graduation from an accredited nursing program
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary healthcare team
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
