Actively seeking to fill this role! We are looking for experienced Back Office Specialist to join the team.
Duties and Responsibilities :
Answer phones, perform data entry, filing, faxing, and copying.
Retrieve transaction documents (trade tickets) and record the cash activity on the documents in the data processing system.
Process (count and record) currency receipts from walk in purchase transactions in conjunction with client services
File paperwork where cash and product have been settled.
Review Exception Reports provided by supervisor or manager by reviewing each entry on the report and making an appropriate notation alongside each item to provide users of the report with the required information
Prepare deposit slips for check receipts pertaining to trades, storage and COD payments and process bank deposits at least once a day.
Abilities with the following :
Math - Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Language - Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
Computer - knowledge of MS Word; MS Excel; MS Outlook; internet browsers; accounting software. Type 40 wpm with accuracy
