Employment Solutions is looking to hire Electronics Test Technicians to a state of the art Electronics facility in Plainfield, CT! These positions are being offered as temp to hire with one of our amazing clients!

Pay: $20-$25/hourly (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7am-3:30pm
Location: Plainfield, CT
Summary:
This individual will be responsible for testing, aligning, troubleshooting, repairing, and modifying circuit boards to obtain specified functionality.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Test various circuit board chassis to comply with customers specifications
Make repairs down to component level on circuit boards
Make adjustments and calibrations to circuit boards
Modifies functions of circuit boards to conform to specific requirements
Sets up standard test apparatus or test equipment and circuitry to conduct functional and operational tests to evaluate performance and reliability of circuit boards
Analyzes and interprets test data
Adjusts, calibrates, aligns, and modifies circuitry, components and records effects on unit performance
Complete paperwork associated with testing and troubleshooting
Fabricated cables for use with test equipment and circuit boards as needed
Qualifications:
Ability to troubleshoot down to component level
Have strong skills with volt meters, spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, power supplies and signal generators
Strong electronics background especially in the Radio Frequency and digital electronics field
Read electronics schematics
Good deductive reasoning ability for troubleshooting.
Demonstrates ability to be mechanically inclined with soldering skills
Ability to use mechanical tools in the fabrication and assembly of chassis
Physical Requirements:
Temperature of the work area may be affected by outside temperatures and machining
Ability to lift, transport and assemble electronics boards, chassis and component parts
Ability to sit and or stand for duration of shift
Ability to work utilizing a microscope for long periods of time

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Day shift

Ability to Relocate:

• Plainfield, IL: Relocate before starting work (Required)
