We are currently seeking a Directorof Client Strategy for our growing team!

What you'll be doing...

As the Director of Client Strategy at EMPIST, you will play a pivotal role in driving our business growth and ensuring the highest level of client satisfaction. You will lead a team of Account Managers (AMs), Technical Account Managers (TAMs) and Virtual Chief Information Officers (vCIOs), guiding them in developing and executing strategic plans to meet our clients' evolving technology needs. Reporting directly to the executive team, you will be responsible for driving sales, fostering client relationships, and delivering exceptional service across our portfolio of diverse clients. 

What we’re looking for...

  • You are a strategic thinker with a passion for driving business growth and delivering exceptional client value. 
  • Lead and mentor a team of AMs, TAMs and vCIOs, providing guidance, support, and direction to drive individual and team performance.
  • Ensure that you and your team know your numbers that include the Activity Metrics and Revenue Goals you will be tracking daily and build strategy to meet and exceed those targets
  • Develop and implement strategic plans to ensure technology alignment with clients' business objectives and technology goals.
  • Drive sales initiatives, including client acquisition, upselling, and cross-selling, to achieve revenue targets and maximize growth opportunities.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key clients, serving as a trusted advisor and strategic partner.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop innovative solutions tailored to meet clients' specific needs and challenges.
  • Track key performance metrics to assess team performance, identify areas for improvement, and drive continuous optimization.
  • Stay informed about industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities and stay ahead of the curve.
  • Effectively communicate with internal stakeholders, clients, and partners to ensure alignment and drive successful outcomes.
  • Be involved with creating, supporting and delivering the company's vision as a Senior Leader on the team.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and best practices in client management and service delivery.
  • Drive a culture of continuous improvement, fostering innovation, learning, and growth within the team and across the organization.

The ideal candidate will have...

  • Bachelor's degree (preferred)
  • Proven experience in client management, sales leadership, and team management within the IT services industry. Previous MSP Experience will be a major differentiator.
  • Strong understanding of Managed Services, IT Infrastructure, Cloud Technologies, and Cybersecurity. Knowledge around how to deliver Digital Transformation for clients is highly sought after.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., ITIL, PMP, CISSP) are a plus
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. 
  • Proven track record of driving sales growth and achieving revenue targets.
  • The ability to be a strategic thinker and develop and execute complex client strategies.
  • A tenacious desire to be results-oriented with a passion for delivering exceptional client experiences.
  • Flexibility to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • A demeanor that demonstrates extensive experience and a background in successfully guiding and working with C-Suite Stakeholders.
  • A Solutions-oriented mindset who is looking to solve client challenges through a variety of efforts.
  • The understanding that they must be an escalation point for the Client Strategy Group and clients and will isolate the root cause of issues so that the client does not feel the need to escalate their issues higher.
