Description

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Participates in the administration of Emory University's compensation programs to ensure internal equity, external competitiveness, and compliance with applicable regulations and institutional policies.
  • Gathers and analyzes data and recommends appropriate courses of action relative to compensation policies and practices.
  • May participate in salary surveys and research additional sources of quality market data.
  • Participates in special projects associated with compensation practices and human resources initiatives; prepares analyses, summarizes findings and presents the results.
  • Maintains professional development by participating in educational programs and professional organizations and by networking with other compensation and human resources professionals.
  • Performs related responsibilities as required.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • A bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, Human Resources Management or a related field.
  • Three years of human resources experience which includes two years of compensation, data analysis, or related human resources experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

NOTE: This role will be granted the opportunity to work from home regularly but must be able to commute to Emory University on a flexible weekly schedule based upon business needs. Schedule is based on agreed upon guidelines of department. This role requires residency in the state of GA. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
