*Emory University Hospital Midtown* is seeking an experience CVICU Registered Nurse to join our *12-bed Cardiovascular Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CVICU)*. You will be a part of the progression of care of patients from critically ill, post-operative surgical patients to up in the chair the morning after surgery (i.e. CABG, Valves, Aortic Dissection, TAVR,, Trans hiatal Esphogectomy) . Technology including but not limited to Intra-aortic balloon pump, ECMO, CRRT, & Impella.

As a *RN Cardiovascular ICU Nurse* you will:
* Delivers safe, dependable and effective care to a patient population independently utilizing the nursing process.
* Plans and implements patient care independently.
* Utilizes patient/family input and goals in planning plan of care. Evaluates patient's response to planned care and adjusts plan of care as appropriate.

*MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS RN CARDIOVASCULAR ICU:*
* Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
* 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
* Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
* BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
