Emory University Hospital Midtown is seeking an experience CVICU Registered Nurse to join our 12-bed Cardiovascular Thoracic Intensive Care Unit (CVICU). You will be a part of the progression of care of patients from critically ill, post-operative surgical patients to up in the chair the morning after surgery (i.e. CABG, Valves, Aortic Dissection, TAVR,, Trans hiatal Esphogectomy) . Technology including but not limited to Intra-aortic balloon pump, ECMO, CRRT, & Impella.

As a RN Cardiovascular ICU Nurse you will:

• Delivers safe, dependable and effective care to a patient population independently utilizing the nursing process.
• Plans and implements patient care independently.
• Utilizes patient/family input and goals in planning plan of care. Evaluates patient's response to planned care and adjusts plan of care as appropriate.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS RN CARDIOVASCULAR ICU:

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 12 months of recent nursing experience within the past five years or recent completion of a re-entry nursing program.
• Must have a valid, active unencumbered Nursing license or temporary permit approved by the Georgia Licensing Board.
• BLS certification required and ACLS may be required in designated departments.
