The Corporate Director, Talent Acquisition in partnership with the Vice President, Talent Acquisition is accountable for the overall maintenance of strategy, design, operation, and execution of Talent Acquisition initiatives, practices, policies, and systems for Emory Healthcare. This position applies solid business strategy, project management methodology, communications, and leadership skills to efficiently and cost-effectively assure a high caliber and diverse workforce that will support Emory's culture, mission, and values.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Responsible for executing a hiring strategy the drives continual process improvement across the Talent Acquisition team and delivers seamless service to the organization
• Oversees a centralized team of talent acquisition managers, consultants and sourcing specialists that support the HR Shared Services operational model
• Serves in an integral role to help refine the collaborative culture within Talent Acquisition and foster a work environment that promotes productivity, operational efficiency, teamwork and service.
• Proactively consult with healthcare operations senior leadership to identify TA needs and design and deploy innovative employee recruitment strategies to meet those needs
• Work collaboratively with fellow HR leaders, both within the hospitals and corporate functions, to ensure that talent solutions are effective for the healthcare system including with Workforce Strategy senior leader and associated teams for talent solutions, recruitment marketing, hiring projects, and other strategic initiatives
• Oversee the recruitment workflow, sourcing strategies, recruitment operations, partnership with HR Technology on maximizing the applicant tracking system and compliance with applicable regulations
• Fully accountable for the attainment of expected service levels and the overall success of talent acquisition services

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's degree in Human Resources or related field preferred, Bachelor's required. PHR/SPHR strongly desired. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to function as a facilitator, teacher, coach, strategic partner, and consultant is required. Basic financial acumen and knowledge of HR systems and process management. Ability to build relationships across an organization and influence senior leader.
