Join the #1hospital in Wisconsin!We are seeking a Sterile Processing Tech to : Effectively and efficiently decontaminate clean sterilize andreprocess patient equipment surgical instruments and medicalsupplies in support of all hospital areas.
Display a widerangeknowledge of everchanging instrumentation equipment and techniques.Work in a fastpaced environment that requires detailed technicalskills.
Have a role in keeping our patients safe and know that youare contributing to our remarkable patient care. Interact withcutting edge surgical instrumentation and reprocessing equipment.
Experience : o High SchoolDiploma or equivalent o 2 years experience in reprocessing oTraveler must have experience in an Academic Level 1 or 2 Traumacenter or similar size hospital.
o Successfully completed travelerassignment (13 weeks). Licensure and Certification : o Traveler musthave Certification by CBSPD as a Certified Sterile Processing andDistribution Technician or IAHCSMM as a Certified RegisteredCentral Service Technician.
Reference o Needs 2 completedreferences from recent work environment / assignments (supervisor ormanager only for work performed in the last two years).
Location : University Hospital 600 Highland Ave Madison WI 53792 Parking : Permit required through UW Transportation.
Shift : 40 hours per week. Sunday throughThursday 11 : 00pm 7 : 30am.
