JD : We are responsible for designing and delivering datamapping specifications and data models for large reporting andanalytics platforms.

Our mappings detail all data movement andtransformation detailing business rules using a combination of SQLand pseudocode.

Our data models (DDLs and model reports) aregenerated via SAP PowerDesigner and define all databaseobjects.

Qualifications :

• Atleast 9 years of work experience in Data Modeling insoftware industry.
• Bachelors Degree orequivalent in a technology related field (e.g. Computer ScienceEngineering etc.) with a focus on data analysis data structures ordata modeling.
• Expert level analysis skills inthe form of research gap analysis data mining and dataprofiling.
• Solid understanding of datalineage. Ability to breakdown and detail the flow of data fromorigination to consumption.
• Proven trackrecord of solving real world problems using a designorientedmodeling approach in large data warehouses data marts andanalytics / reporting platforms such as OBIEE and PowerBI.
• Understanding of different databaseplatforms (e.g. Oracle Snowflake Hadoop Microsoft SQL Server)usages (OLTP Recordkeeping ODS MDM Warehousing and DataLakes).
• Understanding of modeling strategies(dimensional relational unstructured).
• RobustSQL experience used to design new platforms on cloudtechnologies / architecture including Snowflake AWS etc.
• Proficient with ERD / Data Modeling tools (e.g. SAP PowerDesigner or Erwin).
• Experience carrying outprojects in an Agile environment.
• Havingoutstanding interpersonal skills with experience collaborating andinfluencing across all levels of the organization including writtenverbal and technology illustrations.
• Performautonomously on tasks but are willing and able to share knowledgewith coworkers and partners.
• Gogetterselfsufficient and willing to exhaust all research avenues beforeseeking help or discontinuing the search for answers.
• Accepts uncertainty and can combine various sources ofinformation including personal data experimentation research anddialogues to formulate answers.
• Values paceover perfection and can show incremental progress of analysis andresearch through tangible artifacts.
• Capableof balancing multiple contending priorities.
• Familiar with the financial industry and / or have a strongdesire to learn our brokerage business to enhance the value of ourdata.
• Experience with cloud native datawarehousing and data lake solutions using Snowflake is aplus.
• Experience with Kimball Data Warehousedesign techniques.
