Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Person to join our team. The Maintenance Person will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and upkeep of our facilities. This position requires strong technical skills and the ability to work independently.

• Responsibilities:

Complete minor repairs such as plumbing, electrical, painting, furniture and grounds.

• Coordinate with vendors and contractors on major work projects.
• Maintain equipment maintenance records and ensure completion of equipment scheduled maintenance.
• Supervise the operation of heating and cooling equipment according to schedule and instruction.
• Maintain inventory of maintenance and janitorial supplies.
• Set up and take down for events at the church as needed.
• Open and close buildings including lights, locks and alarm systems as assigned.
• Submit annual budget request for Maintenance and Janitorial budget accounts.
• Coordinate with Properties Committee to plan, schedule and execute church projects.
• Any other duties as assigned.
