EMIT Technologies is seeking a dynamic Maintenance Coordinator to join our team in Sheridan, Wyoming. The Maintenance Coordinator will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of our facilities and equipment, thereby contributing to the timely delivery and high quality of our products. This position requires a proactive approach to maintenance management, strong leadership skills, and a passion for driving continuous improvement.

Responsibilities:

• Schedule, manage, and assign tasks using our maintenance software system.
• Lead a team of technicians to ensure tasks are completed on time, within budget, and to high quality standards.
• Maintain organization and communication while overseeing multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Provide e-training and educational materials to employees for skill development.
• Ensure compliance with current policies, regulations, and industrial processes.
• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, machinery, and safety equipment to identify and correct potential hazards.
• Track and report reactive and preventative maintenance metrics, striving to meet or exceed established benchmarks.
• Communicate detailed technical information effectively to various stakeholders.
• Maintain equipment uptime above 98% through proactive maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Develop expertise in various fabrication equipment and processes within EMIT operations.
• Manage inventory of parts and supplies to ensure uninterrupted equipment operation.
• Collaborate with equipment manufacturers and contractors as needed for installations, repairs, and modifications.
• Facilitate equipment and facilities training sessions for employees, utilizing a variety of resources and formats.
• Contribute to the upkeep and maintenance of our facilities to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
• Research, apply for, and utilize state and federal grants to support maintenance initiatives.

Requirements:

• 2-5 years of experience in machine maintenance and operation.
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to mentor and build relationships across all levels of the organization.
• Previous experience in steel fabrication or industrial production equipment maintenance preferred.
• Proficiency in managing and maintaining schedules using maintenance software.
• Self-motivated with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
• Innovative thinker with a demonstrated ability to generate and communicate improvement ideas.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel on a monthly basis.
