Emerson Career Site is Hiring a Manufacturing Specialist III Near Boulder, CO

If you are an experienced Manufacturing Specialist looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting leadership opportunity at our Boulder, CO location. The Warehouse Lead assures safe execution of warehouse procedures, serves as the lead expert in the warehouse area, directs and coordinates the work of their team to achieve daily objectives, works regularly with Engineering, Purchasing, Planning, and supervisors to resolve process issues. Works with employees to ensure on the job training and required certifications are completed and maintained and serves on New Product Implementation teams.

In this Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be:
  • Responsible for the safety, organization and efficient operations of warehousing and forklift operations
  • Follow safety procedures as required in a specific operation
  • Assists in the orientation and training of the Manufacturing Specialist I and II employees
  • Coordinate on the job training in alignment with organizational goals
  • Performs cycle counts and takes steps to ensure that the correct parts and amounts are available for production
  • Identifies safety concerns and takes appropriate action
  • May verify that instrumentation is within specifications and tolerances 
  • Performs additional duties as assigned or required

For This Role, You Will Need:
  • Must be able to lift 35lbs. frequently
  • Requires repetitive motion of fingers, hands, arms and shoulders for reaching, handling, and assembly of product
  • Warehouse: Capable of safely and efficiently operating a powered industrial forklift and other powered industrial trucks
  • Able to apply knowledge of total process flow
  • Must be able to be certified in all station areas

Preferred Qualifications that Set You Apart:

  • Four years of pertinent manufacturing experience
  • Micro Motion Manufacturing Specialist experience preferred
  • Warehousing experience and warehouse lead experience preferred

Our compensation philosophy is simple: we pay a competitive base salary, within the local market in which we operate, and reward performance during our annual merit review process. In accordance with Colorado EPEWA, the hourly pay range for this role is $26.94 – $32.75 commensurate with the skills, talent, capabilities, and experience each candidate brings to a role.
