Emerson Career Site is Hiring a Manager, Turbine Outage Field Service (Hybrid) Near Pittsburgh, PA

If you are a Turbine Solutions professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you! Based out of our headquarters in Pittsburgh, PA, you will manage the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of Field Service activities for Turbine projects. 

IN THIS ROLE, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL BE:

  • Manage the Turbine startup and commissioning Field Service activities and the assigned team to provide the necessary resources to successfully manage site activities, including installation, start-up, and commissioning of gas turbine projects.
  • Expand and develop Field Service installation and commissioning resources to support the growth of the turbine business.
  • Supervise and coordinate personnel, equipment, and financial resources to expand the business volume and profitability of the Turbine Outage group by managing Field Service scope and change notice activities.
  • Build close relationships with Turbine retrofit customers to grow the Emerson Power & Water Solutions business volume while providing quality service and support to our customers.
  • Work closely with regional Field Service leadership to share resources to enhance productivity and promote teamwork in the region and throughout the organization.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical discipline or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of ten (10) years of related experience in Instrumentation and Control in the Power industry.
  • Demonstrated experience in resource management, risk management, and change management. 
  • Ability to manage multiple activities at the same time while assessing technical specifications. 

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS THAT SET YOU APART:

  • PE, PMP, or OV400 certification.
  • Prior experience with Ovation systems.
  • Prior experience with Field Service, Field Service scheduling, site installations, and site management. 
  • Prior experience with project management.
