Shift Available:

Monday Friday 8:00AM-4:30PM

Responsibilities:

Maintain all medical records in designated area in accordance with established polices and procedures

Prepare admission packets and establish medical files

Maintains open charts by filing all clinical documentation daily as it is received

Monitor and audit records for completeness and accuracy at assigned intervals

Process, transfer and discharge records and maintain appropriate records on discharged residents including preparation of bereavement file, if applicable

Prepare reports as directed and inform facility or agency leadership of any deficiencies in documentation

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent

Knowledge of medical terminology

At least one year previous clerical experience, preferably in a medical setting

Must have a valid driver's license and have 24-hour access to a motor vehicle and maintain personal auto liability insurance coverage
