Position: Food Runner
Location: Emerald Cocktail Kitchen
Hey there! We're seeking a detail-oriented and team-oriented Food Runner to join our team at Emerald Cocktail Kitchen, the only rooftop bar in Syracuse located in the vibrant Tip Hill neighborhood! As our Food Runner, you'll be responsible for ensuring that our guests receive their small plates and other food items quickly and efficiently, while also collaborating with the kitchen and bar staff to maintain a smooth and seamless service experience.
We will be holding OPEN INTERVIEWS for all positions for our summer team at ECK on the following dates: Wednesday May 15 4-8pm, Thursday May 16 12-4pm and Saturday May 18 from 2-5pm. Open interviews do not require a scheduled time, please just drop in during the listed times with your resume and availability. We will be hiring the following week of May 20th to start right after Memorial Day weekend.
Qualifications:
- A detail-oriented individual with excellent communication skills
- A passion for providing outstanding customer service and creating a welcoming atmosphere for guests.
- Ability to handle a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
- Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the kitchen and bar staff to ensure prompt and accurate delivery of food items to guests.
- Coordinate with the kitchen to ensure that all orders are complete and accurate.
- Maintain a clean and organized service area, including food pickup stations, and the expo window.
- Running food orders accurately to the roof through the team staircase. This contains 2 flights of stairs
- Assist with other duties as assigned by management.
Pay Rate: starting at $10/ hour plus tips.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
