* Assists with the development of solutions to engineering problems of limited scope
* Assist with systems design, development, and integration from the start of a systems life cycle to the end
* Assists with the oversight of infrastructure including installing, configuring, testing, and maintaining operating systems, application software, and system management tools
* Assists with performing systems modeling, simulation, and analysis
* Assists with continual maintenance of security, including backup and redundancy strategies
* Assists with the documentation for processes and procedures related to engineering projects
* Maintains current knowledge of rapidly changing technology Requirements: The successful candidate shall have: * A Bachelor of Science degree in a technical field and one (1) year of relevant engineering experience or * A Master's degree in a technical field
* Secret clearance Note 1: For the education requirement, a "technical field" could include, but is not limited to, computer science, computer engineering, engineering, engineering management, information science, information systems management, information technology, mathematics, operations research, statistics, technology management, and system engineering. Note 2: For the experience requirement, relevant engineering experience could include, but is not limited to, experience in systems architectures, designs, development, and test & evaluation. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range.
