Job Title: Mechanical Engineer (NARA)K
Job Summary: EMCOR Government Services is seeking a Mechanical Engineer l in Washington, D.C.to provide operations and maintenance support for the National Archives Building in Washington, DC.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
Provide technical support in the efficient and safe operation and maintenance of all mechanical equipment
Analyze equipment specifications, operating data, and system control procedures to make recommendations for the improved operation of the mechanical systems
Use AutoCAD to create new drawings or revise existing drawings
Write or revise SOP's for mechanical equipment and systems.
Select equipment for the replacement or modifications of existing systems
Research and proposing modifications to improve the operation of the facility;
Qualifications:
Bachelor's of Science (B.S.) degree in Mechanical Engineering from an engineering school with a curriculum accredited by the Accreditation Board for Engineering and Technology
Minimum of five (5) years of on-site experience in the operation and maintenance of a facility of 850k sq feet
Experience with HVAC equipment
- Knowledge and Experience using Autocad to create new drawings or revise existing drawings
- Must fluently speak, read and write the English language
