Job Title: Full-Time Maintenance Helper
- Mow, weeding, trimming in spring, summer and fall. Snow removal in winter
- Perform porter services picking up trash and cleaning planters.
- Cleaning sidewalks
- Assist with minor maintenance tasks. (Painting, material moves, assisting Maintenance Techs)
- High school graduate or G.E.D. or equivalent
- Experience working in retail environment a plus.
- Valid driver's license
- Forklift license is preferred
- Ability to read and write English
- Ability to calculate simple addition and subtraction
- Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations where only limited standards exist.
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to safely negotiate ladders.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Show strong customer service skills
Physical Demands:
While performing the duty of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk, sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, taste or smell 100% of the time. Talk and hear 100% of the time. The employee must lift 10 to 50 pounds more than 1/3 of the time and no lifting of heavier pounds. No special vision requirements for this job.
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is exposed to wet or humid conditions, outdoor weather conditions, and heat seasonally.
