Position: Electrical Project Engineer

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Attend bid meetings and site walks
- Review RFPs to understand scope of work to bid
- Review estimates and revisions for completeness and accuracy
- Execute take-offs from documents
- Contact manufacturers and distributors to obtain pricing for materials
- Work with management to determine labor capabilities and rates, equipment deliverables and other on-site / office requirements
- Executing project hand-offs with team upon project being awarded
- Prepare change order pricing for on-going project work on a as needed basis
- Complete walk-through requests
- Document and verification of all measurements
- Complete cut sheets for field team
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree or 3 years field experience in a field or office role
- Estimating Electrical Projects
- Proficient on BlueBeam and Accubid Software
- Proficient on MS Office, Excel, Word & Adobe PDF- Portable Document Format
- Strong knowledge of electrical or commercial construction project installations
- Sound knowledge of engineering design principles
- Good numeracy and computer skills
- An understanding of manufacturing processes and construction methods
- Good problem-solving skills
- Ability to meet deadlines
