Overview:

As a Marketing Project Manager you will be responsible for all aspects of project planning and development within the Marketing team, and will work collaboratively with other Embrace teams. The Project Manager is responsible for coordinating Marketing strategic projects from start to finish by managing resources from the requirements gathering phase to launch. Your goal will be to drive projects forward always keeping in mind how the project effects the growth of the company and your role in increasing Embrace’s value.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for keeping business owners and project team members focused on the deliverables and timeline, while also resolving conflicts and making hard decisions focusing on what is best for the business.
  • Ability to multi-task and set priorities for the employees and management.
  • Document every step of the project and share information with key stakeholders.
  • Maintain open and direct lines of communication with outside resources involved in a project.
  • Broadly communicate updates and/or changes to the business owners and leadership ensuring that you are aware of how changes can impact their teams.
  • Analyze and present data related to resource allocation, timing, and strategic company initiatives.
  • Responsible for developing and monitoring metrics surrounding on time delivery of project requirements.
  • Create a post mortem report after every project to analyze the success and failures so we continue to improve our processes.

Qualifications

  • Strong understanding of project management principals.
  • Experience working in an AGILE environment.
  • Ability to prioritize among competing projects, balance project needs with business priorities and articulate the rationale behind decisions.
  • Proven ability to lead and make decisions using facts and data to back up your position.
  • Exceptional collaboration, communications and presentation skills.
  • Previous experience developing and implementing project plans with a track record of meeting deadlines and staying on budget while still meeting all deliverables.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business, Management or other business-related discipline with 5 years of experience.
  • PMP certification is desired but not required.
  • Excellent organizational, planning, communication and time management skills.
  • Ability to work well with others.
