Job Title: Bellperson Hotel Department: Front Office

Job Objective: Ensure the arrival, departure, and any other guest contact experiences are conducted in an efficient and friendly manner.

Key Areas of Responsibility: As a Bell person, you are the first and last point of contact with our guests. Your main areas are the building lobby and check in areas of the hotel.

Specific Duties:

• Greet guests entering and exiting in a friendly and courteous manner;
• Deliver guests messages;
• Report needed repairs of unsafe conditions to supervisor;
• Assist housekeeping by maintaining the cleanliness of the lobby, front entrance, and baggage area;
• Explain all hotel facilities, their locations in the hotel, hours of operation, and answer questions about these facilities and other hotel questions;
• Respond quickly to requests from guests, supervisors, or management in a timely, friendly and efficient manner;
• Assist Front Desk personnel;
• Deliver luggage to rooms if needed.
• Other duties and responsibilities as may be designated.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, incumbent must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requires good communication skills, outgoing personality, and a passion for excellent customer service. Most tasks are performed in a team environment. There is minimal direct supervision.
