Job Overview:
We are seeking a friendly and customer-oriented individual to join our team as a Guest Service Agent. As a Guest Service Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our guests and will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and ensuring guest satisfaction. This is a vital position within our hotel, and we are looking for someone who is passionate about hospitality and dedicated to creating a positive experience for our guests.

Duties:
- Greet guests upon arrival and provide them with information about hotel services, amenities, and local attractions
- Assist guests with check-in and check-out processes, including handling reservations, payments, and room assignments
- Respond to guest inquiries and requests promptly and professionally, both in person and over the phone
- Provide recommendations for dining options, entertainment venues, and tourist attractions
- Handle guest complaints or concerns with empathy and strive to resolve them effectively
- Maintain a neat and organized front desk area, ensuring all necessary supplies are stocked
- Collaborate with other hotel departments to ensure seamless guest experiences
- Utilize phone systems to answer incoming calls and transfer them to the appropriate departments or individuals
- Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports

Experience:
- Previous experience in a front desk or guest service role within the hotel industry is preferred
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to handle difficult situations with professionalism and grace
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Knowledge of hotel management systems is a plus
- Bilingual proficiency in English and another language is desirable but not required
