Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, performing physical examinations, and assisting with procedures.
- Assess and monitor patient conditions, including vital signs, symptoms, and changes in health status.
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on disease management, treatment options, and preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate and detailed medical records in accordance with HIPAA regulations.
- Provide health coaching and support to patients to promote overall well-being.
- Coordinate and facilitate patient transitions between different healthcare settings (e.g., acute care to home care).
- Utilize aseptic technique and infection control practices to prevent the spread of infection.
- Provide specialized care in areas such as ostomy care, gastric lavage, and ICU.
- Adapt nursing interventions for pediatric patients based on their developmental needs.
Requirements:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of [Location].
