Embassy Healthcare is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Controller to lead and oversee all financial activities for our healthcare company. This individual will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial reporting, managing the accounting team, and providing valuable financial insights to support strategic decision-making. This position reports directly to the CFO.

Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the accounting team, including supervision, training, and

performance management.

- Oversee the entire accounting cycle, including accounts payable, accounts receivable,

payroll, and general ledger.

- Prepare and ensure the accuracy and timeliness of all financial statements in

accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and healthcare

industry regulations.

- Manage monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.

- Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard assets, ensure accurate financial

reporting, and comply with regulations.

- Conduct financial analysis and provide insights to support budgeting, forecasting, and

strategic planning.

- Manage relationships with external auditors and ensure a smooth audit process.

- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in healthcare finance.

- Collaborate with other departments, including operations, management, and clinical

teams, to provide financial support and guidance.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field (CPA preferred).

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a healthcare finance role, preferably in a controller

or senior accounting position.

- Strong understanding of GAAP and healthcare accounting principles.

- Proven experience in managing and leading an accounting team.

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Proficient in accounting software and financial modeling tools.

- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced

environment.
