Elyon International is Hiring a Remote Linux System Administrator (REMOTE)
We are seeking for a System Administrator
- Linux Administration
- OS health check, Proactive Monitoring/alerting via responding to System alerts
- NFS mounts, File Permissions, rsync setup and troubleshooting
- User Access control (Authorized keys setup, SSH)
- IP Tables, Cronjobs, SFTP troubleshooting
- Samba setup and other General OS Issue troubleshooting
- Tools: GIT Repository, Chef, Artifactory, Putty, SQL Server Management Studio,
- Scripting knowledge: BASH Shell, Python, Ruby
- Experience in Java/Tomcat Based Application Support and troubleshooting
- Participate in Production on-call rotations via PagerDUTY, Incident Triage/RCA calls
- On-premises Network knowledge – F5 Load Balancers, Firewalls, Web services Gateway
- Setup and troubleshooting the SSL certificates mutual authentication and Java key store
- Create and Maintain the documentation of Infrastructure implementation and troubleshooting procedures
Preferred Skills:
- Understanding of Agile methodology
- Understanding of CI/CD Pipelines, Infrastructure Automation
- Previous experience of SQL Databases and queries
- Understanding of Kubernetes, Helm, Docker containers and Micro services Architecture
- Understanding of Elastic Search, Kibana, Logstash and Beats deployment
- Knowledge of ITSM tools such as ServiceNOW
