Facilities Maintenance Technician Details :

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ to $ / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 06 : 30am to 05 : 00pm)
• Will perform a variety of skilled duties including carpentry, plumbing, electrical, painting and general grounds and custodial care, related to the general maintenance and repair of city owned and operated buildings and facilities, including HVAC and other mechanical systems.
• Performs general maintenance on various types of buildings, equipment and systems, motors, pumps, valves, bearings, floats, pulleys, belts, switches, relays, plugs, light ballasts, light photo cells, fuses, circuit breakers, timers, wiring, door hardware, floor and ceiling repair, dry wall, painting, caulking, concrete repair, etc.
• Performs general carpentry, maintains physical aspects of city buildings such as windows and door frames and woodwork, repairs and replaces locks.

Assists in maintaining heating and cooling systems in city buildings, including boiler maintenance and repair.

Facilities Maintenance Technician Qualifications :

• Two years experience performing the above related duties
• Must have a valid Utah Driver’s License.
• Ability to frequently lift 35 to 50 pounds and occasionally lift 75 to 100 pounds.
• Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
