This is a full-time position Monday – Friday between the operating hours of 6:30am to 6:00pm. The pay range is $13.50 - $15 per hour depending on experience and qualifications. Employees are offered paid holidays, annual performance/retention bonus and professional development with tuition reimbursement opportunities. This position is onsite at our center located at 1108 Peachtree Street, Cocoa FL 32922. 

The Toddler Teacher plans and implements curriculum, serves as a model and mentor, and coordinates engaging developmental activities for children ages 1 year old. You’ll have the opportunity to build a dynamic classroom environment, create fun-filled learning activities, and support the growth and success of children. 

What You’ll Do:

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by developing classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate activities to engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth
• Follow all Ocoee Oaks policies and state regulations
• Maintain a personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement

What We Need from You:

•  High School Diploma and/or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study preferred
• ​​​FL DCF 45 hours required

• CDA for infants and Toddlers highly preferred
• Must clear a full DCF level II background check.
• At least 1-3 year of professional early childhood training/experience
• Ability to write a lesson plan based on our curriculum “Beyond Learning”
• CPR Certification and First Aid Certifications plus
