This is a full-time position , scheduled to work Monday to Friday split shift between the hours of 6am-12pm as well as 4pm -6pm. The pay is $14 per hour. This role is onsite at our center located: 1320 Hickory Ave, Sanford FL, 32771 

 
The Preschool Teacher Floater work with classroom lead teachers to develop a cohesive teaching team, coordinates the curriculum, and manages the day-to-day operational activities of the classroom. The Teacher in this role should be high energy and able to work well with staff, students, and parents. You’ll have the opportunity to be a leader in the classroom, champion a team environment, and provide fun-filled learning opportunities while making a positive impact on the lives of children of all ages through out the center.

What You’ll Do: 

• Coordinate and implement educational curriculum by creating classroom activities based on developmentally appropriate practices and early learning standards 
• Lead by example and encourage teaching team success through modeling and coaching 
• Plan individual and group age-appropriate exercises to actively engage children and encourage social, cognitive, and emotional growth 
• Maintain personal professional development plan to ensure continuous quality improvement 
• Ensure all Center policies and state regulations are met

What We Need from You: 

• High School Diploma and/or Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field of study 
• FL 45 DCF hours required; CDA preferred

• Minimum of 1 year of professional early childhood education or experience 
• Must clear a full background check 
• Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills, oral and written communication skills, and basic computer skills 
• Strong understanding of children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development to ensure a safe and stimulating classroom environment where students are engaged and encouraged to succeed
