Publishing Administrative Coordinator- Internship Would you enjoy providing business support to a busy publishing team? About our Team Our team works globally with Publishers, Journal Editors and external society stakeholders to coordinate logistics for editorial board meetings. We provide general administrative support for journal and portfolio needs to our customer base. We create and provide customized reporting and data for journal performance such as usage and citation, to discover new opportunities. About the Role In this role you will deliver a valuable service to our team. Handling various journal administrative tasks on behalf of your publishers worldwide. You will take ownership for coordinating off-site and on-line meetings for your publishers. You will learn and develop analytical reporting through data collection, report creation, and identifying insights to contribute to our strategy. This internship provides a thorough overview of scientific research and the publication process. Responsibilities Coordinating logistics for off-site and on-line Editorial Board Meetings including invitations, booking locations and facilities for attendees. Ensuring a professional and seamless experience for all. Gathering data, information, and facts by using existing reports. Including building analyses for publishers to use in proposals, reports, editorial appointments and meetings. Contributing to Best Practice initiatives for operational procedures and workflow efficiency through collaborating with peers and internal teams. Taking ownership of interesting and varied administration tasks, supporting the publisher in the smooth running and success of our journals. Managing various systems to ensure that data is up to date and accurate. Communicating with confidence and widely to ensure that tasks are kept on track and any problems resolved. Requirements Have great organizational and prioritizing skills and be able to provide timely and consistent support to teams. Have excellent written and verbal communication skills and demonstrate an eye for detail. Be data literate and have an analytical mindset with skills to manage data and derive insights. Be able to gather data for analysis from several sources and systems and present in a clear and readable format. Have excellent computer skills in Microsoft Office with proficiency in Excel and the ability to learn new systems. Enjoy collaborating with teams to deliver projects that help make a difference.
