About: A reputable Commercial General Contractor based in South Houston, specializing in ground-up commercial projects across various sectors including Healthcare, Industrial, Retail, Marine, and Aviation is looking for a Superintendent to join them. With projects ranging from $500k to $60M, they pride ourselves on delivering high-quality construction solutions to their clients. We are seeking a dedicated and ambitious Construction Superintendent to join the team.

Position Overview: As a Construction Superintendent, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the successful execution of the projects. You will be responsible for ensuring that construction activities are completed safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest standards of quality. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in ground-up construction, hold their OSHA 30 certification, and demonstrate a passion for high-end finishes and commercial construction.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all on-site construction activities, including subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and quality control.
• Ensure compliance with project plans, specifications, and regulatory requirements.
• Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress and identify potential issues or risks.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and other stakeholders to resolve construction-related issues.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce company safety policies and procedures.
• Provide leadership and guidance to project teams to ensure project objectives are met or exceeded.
• Communicate effectively with clients, subcontractors, and internal teams to keep all stakeholders informed of project status and any changes.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in ground-up commercial construction.
• OSHA 30 certification.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, techniques, and materials.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
• Detail-oriented with a strong commitment to quality and safety.
• Proficiency in construction management software is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $115,000.00 per year
